Information we collect

We collect the information you provide — such as account details and the photos, project notes, and reviews you upload — along with basic usage data needed to operate the Service.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, to publish the project content you choose to make public, and to communicate with you about your account.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party services

We may share data with service providers that help us operate ProjectProof (for example, hosting and analytics). They may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

Connected accounts: Pinterest

Connecting a Pinterest account is optional. An account admin can connect their organization's own Pinterest account in Settings → Integrations → Pinterest. We then receive, through Pinterest's official OAuth sign-in, an access token and a refresh token, and we read your Pinterest username and the list of your boards. We never see your Pinterest password.

We use this access only to do what you turn on: when you choose to share a project published on your website, you review its Pin and click Publish to Pinterest, and we create one Pin on the board you chose, with that project's photo, title, description and a link to its page. We change that Pin's text only when you click Update pin. Publishing or editing a project never sends anything to Pinterest on its own. We also create a board if you ask us to. We store the tokens, your username, the chosen board and the IDs of the Pins we created. We do not read your other Pins, followers or messages, we do not post anything else, and we do not sell Pinterest data or share it with anyone except the service providers that host ProjectProof.

You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Integrations → Pinterest → Disconnect: we stop pinning immediately and delete the stored tokens. Pins already published stay on your Pinterest account until you remove them there. You can also revoke our access from your Pinterest account settings, or email us to delete the remaining Pinterest data (username, board and Pin IDs). Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated "Last updated" date.
